If you're looking for color inspiration for your wedding events, we always love to look to the Pantone Color of the Year for ideas! The 2024 color is a soft, warm peach-toned hue, which will be a favorite for many couples!
For over 20 years, the Pantone Color Institute has selected the "Color of the Year" – meant to be a symbol of the new year to come. The 2024 Color of the Year has been announced as Peach Fuzz. Selected because of its cozy and comforting hue that nurtures compassion and heartfelt kindness, the sentiment is ideal for a wedding color palette that strives to evoke a warm, loving feel.
"In seeking a hue that echoes our innate yearning for closeness and connection, we chose a color radiant with warmth and modern elegance. A shade that resonates with compassion, offers a tactile embrace, and effortlessly bridges the youthful with the timeless," Pantone Color Institute executive director Leatrice Eiseman shares of the new color selection for this year.
If you're still choosing a design scheme for your wedding day, incorporating punchy peach-hued tones into your color palette can work well for celebrations in any season. Especially fitting for elegant spring and summer fêtes, there are a number of ways to utilize this soft, romantic tone throughout your ceremony and reception. While pink and blush weddings have been popular for years, we'll likely see even more – highlighting more of a peach tone – with this new announcement from the Pantone Color Institute. We can't wait to see the unique ways couples incorporate this color in their design, whether for pre-wedding events or the big day!
